Santa Baby…
I have been very very good this year, save from being stubborn regarding my weight loss
So I might not be qualified for asking for a diamond engagement ring, albeit 7 years late into my marriage BUT I know I am qualified to ask for the following:
1. An iPad2
2. Jewelry – a ring perhaps?
3. A MacBook Pro
4. Shopping Money
and
5. Some alone time so I can actually sleep after a massage!
Christmas Wishlist
I am pretty sure most of the things people blog about these days are all about Christmas! And I am one of them
Let’s see:
1. The kids have written to Santa.
2. And Santa has answered back in the form of a video from Portable North Pole. Shocked would be an understatement, most definitely. My youngest can’t stop singing Christmas carols ever since.
While my eldest wished for books (Harry Potter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid), my youngest wished for a Barbie House. Of course, not to be outdone, my third baby (aka husband) wished for the Adidas DRose basketball shoes, in addition to alec bradley cigars he wanted to try.
Care to ask me what’s on MY list?
Christmas Magic
Only four days away from Christmas!
I have yet to finish my gifts for my parents (from the grandchildren) and my in-laws, still yet to wrap gifts, scan tags using a document imaging software and a gazillion other things to do but I am so excited for Christmas!!
We will be NOT thinking of Christmas for now since something more special is due today – my son’s 11th birthday! I couldn’t imagine my life without him. (And I feel so old, I have a kid who stepped into the two-digit age group!)
Bitten by the Christmas Bug!
I can’t seem to focus on work these days. I have officially been bitten by the Christmas bug and all I want to do is plan Christmas all day and go shopping, which I have yet to do by the way. But I need to finish work so I can have money to shop – works both ways I think. But sometimes I feel that abrasives (work) are chafing on me physically and emotionally that I do not get to enjoy the season as much as I want to. But I will do this! I will finish soon so I can enjoy the season!
Modern Invitations for the Modern Birthday Theme
I’m thinking of throwing a birthday party next year. As early as now, I already thought of a theme. It’s going to be a modern/minimalist birthday theme. Since I love this theme so much, I’m incorporating it to my party next year. To start off, I’m giving out Modern Invitations to my friends and relatives. I saw a couple of Mid Century Design invitations at Fabulousstationery.com. They have over 500 designs and I’m already thinking which one I like as early as now. The setup would be of course minimalist. Not too much balloons, just a couple of Japanese plants and a huge Happy Birthday banner perhaps. I’m not into over-decorated venue and would just splurge on the food, photographer and giveaways.
My giveaways as of now (and if I don’t change my mind) are similar to Personalized Greeting Cards. I want to make it really personalized. Since the invited guests will be close friends, families and relatives, each giveaway would be personalized according to each guest. I know, it sounds challenging but if I purchase a couple of greeting cards from Fabulousstationery.com, my tasks will be easier. Now, I’m excited for the upcoming party. So many ideas are flowing but I just can’t start doing those ideas because I’m still busy planning and preparing for the Holiday rush and sending out Personalized Holiday Cards. But as soon as it is over, I would focus on the party and start ordering from Fabulousstationery.com.
