Backing Up and Storing Files
As a mom who scrapbooks, I do not even hesitate or even blink whenever I spend on memory-keeping stuff for our family. I print pictures regularly, have them in acid-free albums and do photobooks. The amount of pictures I take can be classified as insane by some people, but when you are a parent, you tend to want to capture everything about your kids, even if it means snapping 12 frames in one pose.
Since 2004, all my pictures have been digital, and stored in our computer, burned to DVDs and backed up to an external hard drive. I have learned the hard way. In 2005, a week after my youngest daughter was born, our computer crashed, taking along with the pictures of my newborn. We weren’t backing up regularly then. After the incident, we took backing up our files seriously. Everybody should learn how to back up your computer! It is essential since we live in the digital age! So many memories get lost because of gadget crashes.
Another way to back up files is uploading them to an independent server. Online backups are fast becoming a trend, since most computers these days come in smaller units, with less storage. What’s great about online backups is that it automatically does the job and store your files online! And from there, you can access your files anywhere anytime, even from another computer!
A New TV for Christmas
I have been looking at sony tvs on sale these days. We are contemplating on getting a second TV for the house this Christmas – a bigger one I think and we are transferring the current one to our room. I hope we can get an awesome deal — there has always been a fight between which one to watch among the kids.
Unwired Cell Phone Signal Booster
Are you having problems with your signals because of the location of your area? There probably are a lot trees that blocks these radio frequency levels. Especially inside the building, the materials used to build it are strong and dense that is why it’s hard to get enough signal. Worse, they have dead spots. The only reason why some buildings can still get signals is because the devices can access to the nearest network provider towers. These are repeater towers that push signals with a huge amount of power. But what if there’s none?
Here is where cell phone signal booster comes in. This device can actually serve as a portable mini repeater tower and project a signal in dead spot areas. With Unwired Signal’s outstanding engineering techniques, they can easily boost up signal levels. What you must know is that there are different types of cellular frequency levels. For North and South America are 1850 MHz to 1990 MHz. On the other hand, 800 MHz to 894 MHz are reserved for Canada , 800 MHz and 1800 MHz for the rest of the continents. Each mobile service provider uses a specific cellular frequency. Depending on the frequency level is the kind of cell booster you have to purchase.
There are a couple of things to compute in order to successfully use the cell phone repeater. But the good news is, Unwired Signal can do it all for you! Just give them a call and enjoy the benefits of having your own signal provider without the problem of call drops.
