Dollhouses
What do you give your daughter who happens to be five years old this Christmas? Do you give her a citizen watch? Or a Barbie doll?
A barbie doll will work, but her eyes will not glow as much as it will when you give her this dollhouse.
This is a Liliane Dollhouse Villa for tall dolls.
Liliane Limpens loved playing with dolls and dollhouses as a child for the imaginative escape they provided. She began making wood play furniture for her children in 1996 and eventually decided to design these large doll villas to sell. She describes the impetus behind the company: “My motivation to design the dolls villa stems from a desire to give children their own dream villa. This villa had to be top quality, and not meant for tiny dolls, but an exclusive, private domain, just for their favourite dolls. A domain with its own standards, values, rules and freedoms. One that children nurture as they grow older.”
